By Air
The nearest airports are situated in Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
By Car
Fort Augustus is located at the southern end of Loch Ness, 31 miles north of Fort
William and 34 miles South of Inverness on the A82.
By car, the A82 winds North to Fort William. Continue along the A82 for 31 miles
towards Inverness. As you enter the village of Fort Augustus we are situated on the
right hand side just before you pass the West End Garage
Travelling South from Inverness,
enter Fort Augustus, continue over the Canal Bridge and follow the Fort William road,
just past the West End Garage you will us on the left hand side of the road.
Bus
Buses travel back and forth from Oban and Fort William to Inverness, stopping in the centre of Fort Augustus. Also, there are frequent coaches from Edinburgh and Glasgow to Inverness where there is a connecting bus to Fort Augustus.

Rail
Main railway stations are situated in Fort William and Inverness and are all accessible
from Glasgow , Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Try First Scot Rail for more details. Unfortunately
there is no train service between Inverness and Fort William, but there is a good
bus link.
